Dear Hoosier Voter,
On May 4th, you will choose your Republican candidate for Congress. You can count on me to Protect the Right to Life, Secure our Borders and Defend the Second Amendment. I will Cut Spending, Reduce Taxes and Balance the Budget to Create Jobs and Build our Economy. You can count on me to advance our Conservative principles of Limited Government, Strong National Defense and Traditional Moral Values. I have made the following pledges so you can trust me to go to Washington to fight on your behalf.
Constitution Pledge – I pledge to uphold, protect and defend the Constitution and get Congress back to its Constitutional limits. As your Congressman, I will protect the Constitution because the Constitution protects our Freedom. You, God and the Constitution will be my true guides, not the political establishment or Washington D.C.
Term Limits Pledge – I have made a personal pledge to only serve three terms in the House of Representatives, which equals six years. I am not interested in a career in Washington and I do not care about money or power. I just simply care about standing up for our Christian Conservative values, standing up for the Hoosier people and simply doing what is right every single time.
Represent Indiana Pledge – Once elected, I will not move out to Washington. Politicians get elected, they go to D.C. and you never see them again. They become a representative of Washington instead of Indiana. I will not buy a house in Washington. I will buy a couch to sleep in my office a few nights a week while Congress is in session and the rest of the time I will be here in Indiana with you. My first and foremost priority is serving the Hoosier people.
No Lifetime Benefits Pledge – I will not accept the retirement plan or the health care package. It is a shame. Nobody else has an opportunity to work a couple years and be set for life. I am not going to do it.
No Pay Raise Pledge – I will never vote for a pay raise. More than likely I will receive one because politicians vote themselves a pay raise every year with our money. I am going to donate my pay raise to my local church and other local churches and charities.
No Pork Pledge – I will never vote for or request a Pork Project. This is the most corrupting practice in Washington. Politicians spend the people’s money on pork projects like buildings and bridges to promote themselves for re-election. I am not going to campaign on how much money of yours I have spent, but rather on how much money of yours I have saved.
I humbly ask for your vote in the Tuesday, May 4th congressional primary. I am going to Congress to take the power away from the corrupt politicians and give it back to the people. That is what our nation was founded upon: A government of the people, by the people and for the people!
